Overview (catalog description)

Student design teams develop the conceptual design of an active civil engineering project. Topics include: consulting firm practice, the design process, evaluation of alternatives, regulatory constraints and the permit process, legal, ethical, and social aspects of professional engineering practice, cost and scheduling estimations.
